Growing up, my parents wanted to make sure that all of my brothers and I had ornaments with which to decorate our Christmas trees once we “left the nest.” So, each year, besides the other Christmas presents we’d receive, we also received an ornament. Usually those ornaments somehow related to our individual interests or hobbies. For Rachel and me then, we have a number of travel-, photo- and drum-related ornaments on our tree. 🙂 In the slideshow are also two ornaments that my Grandpa Freund made and one of Rachel’s ornaments that I like!
