this week’s 4×5 photos: one old, one new

Along with my promise to utilize my 4×5 camera more, I promise to share with the web the results of my efforts. For your viewing pleasure today, I have two images- a B+W portrait shot 8 months ago and a color landscape shot last week.
Zeph is a Riverwest artist and a very talented man. I met him through some work he did with Artists Working in Education. Though not a Milwaukee native, he has made this place his home and continues to make some great artwork. I visited him at his home last Sept and photographed him in his studio area.
The Wisconsin Avenue Bridge is about two blocks from my home and has figured into my visual-language quite often lately. It’s an elegant, graceful structure and I love seeing it in all different kinds of light.
