Riverwest TrailRun+ on July 7

If you like trail running, mark your calendar for July 7, 7:30a. I’ve been training for a few months to run a trail half-marathon, but have never intended to actually sign up, pay entry fees, and run a “real” half. Instead, I planned to map out a 6.51 mile course, run it twice and declare myself a half-marathoner. Now that the Go Date is nearly here, I figured maybe some other runners might like to partake in this run. So, if you’re interested in trail-running, come on out on the morning of July 7th and run around 13.5-14  miles (or whatever distance you like) along the Milwaukee River.

There will be no awards. There will be no support teams, aside from any friends you bring with you. There will be no timers, aside from what devices you wear on your person. Significantly, there will be no screen-printed t-shirts letting the world know that you ran the Riverwest Trailrun+.

If you want to be a part of this excellent adventure, go check the event page on FBook and RSVP!

If you check my Instagram feed, you can see some “post-run” pics from my training runs. 🙂 Also, if you check #FitPhotog on Twitter, you can see tweets from me and other photogs who are trying to stay in shape! For tweets about this run, check #RiverwestPlus. This all sort of began earlier this year, with this blog post.
