This slideshow is a series of portraits that I shot for an upcoming advertorial feature. It’s for an annual magazine feature, and as such, I have photographed a lot of the subjects in previous years. What makes this shoot particularly challenging is that it tends to be very bare-bones – no assistant, no stylist, and little time to complete the portraits. Most of my appointments give me around 60-80 minutes to arrive, determine setting, set-up, shoot, download, and review images with the photo-subject. I think, despite these constraints, I’m usually able to make some nice business portraits!
