altruism isn’t only for wealthy philanthropists

Each time my wife and I go grocery shopping we add one or two items to the cart for our local food pantry. When we get home and put the food away, the food pantry items go into a carboard box. Once the box is full, it’s time for a pantry drop-off. Today was such a day and I took TWO boxes in! The economy has definitely affected our ability to donate to causes we believe in, but with a little thought and a few bucks a week, we are still able to help people who are in worse shape than us. If you’d like to help too, consider delivering your donation to the Hunger Task Force.
